How do we use the data?

Technical data is collected to ensure flawless provision of the web site on the one hand, and user behavior analysis on the other.

If you use this web site, a variety of personal data points will be collected. Personal information is information that personally identifies you. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and what we use it for. It also explains how and for what purpose this happens.

Please note that data transmission over the Internet (for example, when communicating via email) may have security vulnerabilities. Complete data protection from access by third parties is not possible.

Responsible party

The responsible party for processing data gathered by and for content on this web site, in accordance with § 5 TMG (telecommunications law):

The natural or legal entity named herein is individually or collectively responsible for making decisions regarding purpose and method used to process personal information (e.g. name, email adresses, etc.).

Revoking your consent to having your data processed

Many data processing operations are only activated with your express consent. You can revoke an existing consent at any time. An informal message by email to us is sufficient. The legality of any data processing carried out prior to the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

Right to data portability

You have the right to have data that we process on the basis of your consent or in fulfillment of a contract sent to yourself or to a third party in a standard, machine-readable format. If you require the direct transfer of data to a third party, this will only be done to the extent it is technically feasible.

SSL or TLS encryption

This site uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or requests that you send to us as a site operator. An encrypted connection can be spotted by observing the address line of the browser, which changes from “http: //” to “https: //” and places a lock symbol in your browser line.

If SSL or TLS encryption is enabled, the data you submit to us cannot be read by third parties.

3. Data collection via our web site

Internet pages may use so-called “cookies”. Cookies do not harm your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies serve to create a more user-friendly, effective and secure experience. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer by your browser.

Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted after your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your device unless you delete them. These cookies allow us to recognize your browser the next time you visit.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about cookie settings, acceptance of cookies for certain cases or generally exclude and enable the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of this web site.

Cookies required to carry out the electronic communication process or to provide certain functions you may wish to use (e.g. shopping cart function) are processed and saved in accordance with art. 6, para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the storage of cookies to limit technical errors and optimize provision of its services. Insofar as other cookies (such as cookies for analyzing your surfing behavior) are stored, they will be treated separately in this privacy policy.

Server log files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores the following information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us:

  • Browser type and version
  • User´s operating system
  • Referrer URL
  • Host name of the computer accessing our site
  • Time stamp
  • IP adress

This data is at no time merged with other data sources.

The basis for data processing is art. 6, para. 1 lit. f DSGVO, which regulates the processing of data to fulfill a contract or establish pre-contractual measures.

Contact sheet

If you send an inquiry via the contact form, any details you provide will be stored in order to process the request and in the event of follow-up questions. We will not share this information without your explicit consent.

The processing of data entered into the contact form is therefore exclusively based on your consent (art. 6 (1) lit. DSGVO). You can revoke this consent at any time – an informal message by e-mail to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations carried prior to the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

The information you provide in the contact form will remain stored on our servers until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage or if the purpose for data storage (e.g. after your request has been processed) is no longer a factor. Mandatory statutory provisions – especially retention periods – remain unaffected.
